Educating Credit Union Finance Pros on Innovation Communication during Speaker at 25th Annual CUNA F

Brown, chief executive officer of SMB Strategic Media LLC (http://shakirabrown.com) and Princeton Mercer Regional Chamber member, will serve as a speaker among a roster of esteemed industry leaders during the Credit Union National Association’s (CUNA) Annual Finance Council Conference May 19-22, 2019 at the New York Hilton Midtown in NYC. This year marks the 25th anniversary of CUNA Finance Council Conference, one of the largest annual gatherings for finance professionals in the credit union industry. CUNA Councils (cunacouncils.org) is a member-led, collaborative community of credit union leaders providing new ideas and innovation to foster professional development, while advocating for the overall success of the credit union movement. CUNA Finance Council is one of seven CUNA Councils, a network of more than 7,000 credit union professionals.

Brown, an award-winning Branding and Business Communications Strategist and Professional Speaker, will lead a breakout session on May 21, 2019 at 9:10 am and 11:00 am titled, “Innovation through Conversational Leadership.” Her session is designed to provide strategies for finance professionals through the process of ideation to manage constant industry disruption. During her presentation, Brown will educate attendees on how to tap into their ability to recognize and hone their creative potential to inspire their teams to do the same. She will also advise on techniques to increase their individual creativity to generate solutions to business challenges and achieve the results they want.
